WHAT IS A SEASONAL VESTIBULE

Vestibule.

It’s not the most common word ever.

And frankly, most people don’t know what it means.

Do you?

To us, we define vestibules as temporary, modular, structures that are added to the entrance of a building or seating area to create a secondary barrier from the elements.

And they are fantastic!

But how do they make your business’s experience better?

Extra protection from the elements.

Both customers and employees need protection from the elements; especially during the winter when wind, sleet, snow and ice are common. Seasonal Vestibules block these elements from blowing into the main doors of your business, and into places where your employees are working or customers are seated.

Business operations look different right now.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many companies have been forced to operate differently. Fortunately, Seasonal Vestibules can be designed to completely change the format of how you interact with your customers. For example, vestibules can be designed to function as an area for pick-up food orders, drive-up windows, as an extension of your indoor / outdoor seating or as a place to screen employees / customers prior to entering.

Keeping you up to code.

If your commercial building has a primary entry space of 3,000 square feet or larger, you are often required to install a prefabricated vestibule or mantrap at those doors. Why? It goes back to the buffer zone. When visitors enter your building through a vestibule, conditioned air isn’t lost and your HVAC doesn’t have to work as hard to compensate for that loss. Our temporary vestibules greatly reduce the complications of permitting, codes, and construction costs (note: see your state and city codes for guidelines in your area)

Sharing your brand & messaging.

Seasonal vestibules provide additional opportunities for you to market your organization and its brand messages. By adding graphics, logos or desired copy, your vestibule can become an experience (whether someone is driving by or passing through). You can think of it as an extension of your building, but more importantly, an extension of your brand.

Whether you have a restaurant, manufacturing plant, or a medical or corporate facility, seasonal vestibules can be your saving grace this Fall / Winter. Not only do they enhance the experience your customers and employees have entering your space, but they also provide you with an extra layer of protection.
