Position Overview

The Industrial Sewer supports production operations through skilled sewing, machine setup, and quality control across Marine, Industrial, and Awning product lines. This role ensures durable, high-quality finished products that meet production time standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Sewing & Production Operations

  • Set up and operate industrial sewing machines.

  • Follow written and verbal sewing specifications.

  • Maintain production time standards.

Quality & Efficiency

  • Perform quality control inspections.

  • Maintain clean and organized workstations.

Cross-Training & Team Support

  • Assist with training new sewers.

  • Support other departments as needed.

  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications

  • Industrial sewing experience preferred.

  • Experience with commercial sewing equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Frequent repetitive motion and fine motor skills.

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

Work Environment

This position operates in a production and fabrication environment with exposure to equipment, tools, and industrial machinery. Team members must follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times and use required protective equipment.

Position Details

  • Full Time

  • $20-$25/Hour (Depending On Experience)

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (flexible scheduling available)

  • Reports to Production Supervisor
